What to do before the visit?
- Do not pluck your hair for 7 days
- Don't cut your eyebrows. Read more about the reasons here!
How long will the effect last after lamination?
Lamination can last you 4 to 8 weeks. Of course, this is individual. It all depends on many factors:
- Once you start to grow new hairs, the lamination will gradually start to fade. If you take hormone pills and vitamins for accelerated regeneration, this growth process is accelerated and the lamination disappears faster.
- One of the main factors can also be skin type. On oily skin, the effect lasts for a shorter period of time.
- Hormonal changes
How long does the colour last on the skin?
It all depends on your skin type.
- On oily skin about 2-5 days
- On normal skin about 5-10 days
- On dry skin for about 7-14 days
The colour lasts 2-4 weeks on the hair. Of course, this depends on the strength of the dyeing. If we make it stronger and darker it will stay longer.
After how long can I go for lamination again?
It is possible to repeat the lamination after about 1.5 - 2 months. We do not recommend more frequent visits to avoid destroying hairs or eyelashes.
Who is lamination not suitable for?
If you have:
- allergy to parabens or acetone (these are ingredients in laminating products)
- very thin, fine and short hairs
- skin or infectious diseases on the face
- damaged skin in the eyebrow or eyelash area
- inflammation of the eyelids
- barley on the eye
- fresh permanent make-up (wait at least 3 weeks)
- undergone eye surgery
Do I need to take care of my eyebrows after lamination?
After lamination, it is very important to take care of your eyebrows and you need to use oil or botox. The oil is applied at night before going to bed and the botox is applied on the eyebrows for 10 minutes and then rinsed off with water. If you follow this at least 2-3 times a week, your eyebrows will be in better condition for longer. We also recommend:
- use a fixative gel to aid shape retention
- brush your eyebrows every day before going to bed
What to do after the visit?
- Keep your eyebrows dry for 2-5 hours.
- Do not exfoliate.
- Do not enter a hot tub or sauna for 24 hours and do not play sports.
- Do not use oils and creams in the eyebrow area.
When the effect wears off, what will my eyebrows/eyelashes look like?
The effect will disappear by itself. Basically, when your laminated hairs fall out, they gradually recover and new ones start to grow. You will then get back to the same condition as before the lamination.
What do I need to do to make my paint last longer?
- For the first 2-5 hours, do not soak your eyebrows.
- Wash carefully, don't rub your eyebrows and don't use aggressive cosmetics.
- Avoid swimming pools and tanning beds for the first 48 hours.
- Do not exfoliate in the eyebrow zone.
Basically, it all depends on your skin. For a longer lasting effect, we can make a darker shade (everything in moderation of course) that lasts longer.
What is eyebrow lamination?
It is the fixation of hairs into the desired shape using special preparations.
Do I have to take my lenses off before eyelash lamination?
No. The lenses do not wear out during the procedure, so you can keep them.
Can I paint my eyelashes with mascara after lamination?
We recommend using the cosmetics after 24 hours.
